D.U.D. has finally scheduled a new show! July 10th at
T&A Rockz in Ft. Worth, TX. We will be playing two new songs:
The Sleeping Ones and Bullet Tongue.

- Congratulations
to proud parents Paul and Trista on the arrival
of their baby boy! Richard James Bolton was born
on the 30th of January 2003.
- D.U.D.
is now auditioning drummers. Please
contact the band if you are interested.
- The
band has written three new songs that we hope to
have ready for the upcoming gigs. Working titles
are: Your Eyes, Personal Judas (an old one we
have brought back), and Wake Me When I'm Dead. We
hope to get into the studio in February to record
these along with the live staples Down and Who
the Hell.
December

- Excellent
drummer and good friend Jay, from the killer
local band Mile Zero, will be
filling in for us until a permanent replacement
for Matt is found.
- Drummer
Matt Loria has left the band due to personal
commitments with family and work. We wish Matt
the best in all of his endeavors and we want to
thank him for his hard work, dedication, and
honesty!
- Paul
Bolton has joined the band on bass. Paul is a
madman on bass and brings a heavier style of
playing to the band. Come out to one of the shows
and check him out!
- Bassist
Todd Baker has decided to leave the band in order
to concentrate on the producing, recording, and
engineering side of the business. The bands
wishes Todd all the luck in the world with his
new project! If you need a demo done, Todd is the
man -- just drop the band a line and we will hook
you up with him.

- 9/13/02 Evans Drum Heads now sponsors Matt Loria!
Evans is a great company and we look forward to a
long relationship with them.
- 9/12/02
Due to an illness of one of the band members, the
show at the Ridglea Theater in Ft. Worth has been
cancelled.

- "Beneath the
Surface" will be the title of the new D.U.D. CD Demo EP. Release date is
set for August 30th (see "showz" for
release party information.) We have finished the
recording stage of the project and have the final
mixing, mastering, artwork, and reproduction
left.

- The show scheduled
for 8/16/02 at Graffiti's Rock Room has been
cancelled due to conflicting schedules with day

of Alice in Chains, dead at age 34 (1967-2002).
Huge influence and creative inspiration for D.U.D. In fact, the band name is
a tribute to Alice in Chains -- deep under the
influence of the "Dirt" album.

Under Dirt
begin working on yet untitled demo. The CD will
include 4 to 6 original D.U.D. songs.
- Deep
Under Dirt announces that drummer Matt Loria
has joined the band after an almost one year
search to fill the position.

officially adopts name and logo after a lengthy
name search. The band was to be called
"Rosemary Midnight" after an original
song title, however after much discussion and
feedback from friends and family, the name is
changed.

Baker joins unnamed band on bass and

Phillips joins founding band members on vocals.

- Brian
Harshaw and Brian Theodore meet via the Internet
(musician.com) and form
the core of what is to become Deep Under
Dirt. The original name of the duo was
"Dark Skies."
